Media Research Center
Internship Program

Make an investment in the future of conservatism!

We have helped bright young conservatives develop the skills they need to take on the ferocious liberal media and advance their careers. They have gone on to achieve impressive careers — both at the MRC and elsewhere.

Our interns aren’t fetching coffee or making copies — they are actively involved in groundbreaking media bias studies, writing articles for NewsBusters and CNSNews, producing (and starring in) MRCTV viral videos. They also work in event planning, web development, graphic design, and social media.

All of this is possible through your generous support.

From begging for spare change on a corner near Capitol Hill, to mopping floors because someone hurled while watching CNN, to shining the boss’ shoes, to even some occasional news analysis... MRC interns do it all!

If you give today, an MRC donor has agreed to match your gift dollar-for-dollar (up to $5,000)!

“The Media Research Center has been the first place I've worked at that truly shares the mentality of conservatism. It was a breath of fresh air to know that organizations like the MRC exist. With the mainstream media's constant bias, there is always a need for organizations like the MRC to bring the truth to the people. I'm proud to have worked with so many great individuals there--it inspired me to become actively involved in the future of America.”

“My time at the MRC was something I will cherish for the rest of my life, as the people in my department made me feel a part of the organization from day one. I could not have asked for a better opportunity for my first internship. I learned a tremendous amount about real world opportunities, and the connections I made I will keep for the rest of my life!”

“If you are looking for a coffee-fetching, data-entering, boring internship, MRC is not for you. Because at MRC, you will be writing articles that will be read by thousands of people, working in an exciting and fast-paced environment, and meeting the same expectations as full-time staff. Not only was my internship at MRC an absolute blast, but it gave me invaluable experience and connections that I will take with me everywhere I go.”
